Whitening is not a permanent solution. Stains can always come back. If patient is habituated to smoke or consume lot of staining giving foods or drinks, you may see the whiteness on the teeth start to fade very sooner. If you avoid these sources of stain, you may not need another whitening treatment for 12 months.
